Cupertino Electric has developed its business culture based on deep-seated “Golden Rule” business values, which include a passion for philanthropy through community service and charitable donations. The following are just a few avenues Cupertino Electric has established for everyone in the company to help out in their community.

	Voluntary Community Service. Cupertino Electric will provide up to four hours of paid time off per month to each active full time employee to volunteer at an eligible organization of his or her choice.
	Matching Gift Policy. Cupertino Electric will match dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500 per calendar year for each regular full time employee and up to $10,000 per calendar year for a specific organization.

Save the Bay

CEI employees spent 6 hours restoring wetland habitat at the mouth of San Francisquito Creek. Activities mainly included removing non-native plants but also consisted of collecting native plant seeds, transplanting seedlings in the native plant nursery, helping with shoreline cleanup, and site monitoring.
